Business services are the product or services that you are providing to your customers. Any item that you may sell to consumers is considered a business service. For a small example, let’s say that you plan to sell homemade jewelry—these are goods, tangible products that consumers can hold in their hands and purchase from your business. Or for instance, maybe your business is along the lines of house cleaning or commercial cleaning, this is a service, consumers cannot hold it in their hand but it is provided to them for a cost.
Other examples of goods or services may include:
handmade food items
pet sitting services
pet walking services
mass market paperbacks or hardcovers
freelance writing services.
on-demand, create your own t-shirts
What do business service managers do? A business manager has many different duties. These include just what you would imagine a manager doing: overseeing the workers, hiring, training, and employee evaluations. They also can be responsible for setting up goals for the business in the future and developing what works and what doesn’t work for your small business.
